Tazewell County Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization made up of individuals with an interest in food and agriculture.

We are a non-for-profit, general farm organization created in 1913 by area farmers, businessmen and community leaders to improve science, knowledge, lifestyle and standards of living on the farm and off for its members. Today, the Tazewell County Farm Bureau holds close to these roots through agricultural literacy efforts, membership service, public policy interaction, consumer engagement, farm product marketing and outreach.

As the county’s largest general farm organization, Tazewell County Farm Bureau is dedicated to education and information to the community about agriculture. Through education programs targeting youth and their parents, Farm Bureau members are actively engaging in conversations about food and the shared values between farmers and consumers.
